Our Mission

Start2Study empowers individuals to access UK higher education, locally and internationally, through free, expert-led application support. We work with referral partners to guide clients from uncertainty to opportunity.

Who Can Be Referred?

We welcome referrals for:

  • UK residents aged 18+ seeking university pathways

  • Clients with no prior university experience

  • Individuals facing barriers to education (e.g., unemployment, mental health, criminal history, housing instability)

  • International students (where appropriate) seeking to study in the UK

  • Clients looking to upskill, reskill, or re-engage with structured learning

✅ No qualifications or experience needed to start the conversation.

How the Referral Process Works

Step 1: Referral Submission

Partners or individuals can refer by:

Please include:

  • Student’s first name

  • Basic contact info (email/phone)

  • Any support needs or background info (optional)

Step 2: Initial Contact (Within 24–48 Hours)

Our team contacts the referred individual to:

  • Explain how we help

  • Explore course options and funding

  • Assess next steps

  • Schedule a free 1-on-1 consultation (online or phone)

Step 3: Course Matching & Support

We guide the student through:

  • Choosing a subject area

  • Understanding tuition options and student finance (UK residents)

  • Document prep (CV, SOP, transcripts)

  • Application submission and follow-up

  • Interview preparation (if required)

  • Visa guidance (for international students)

Step 4: Progress Updates

With consent, we’ll:

  • Keep referrers informed of key milestones

  • Offer partner reports or basic progress summaries

  • Provide additional guidance if barriers arise

Step 5: Ongoing Support

Even after an offer is received, we continue supporting with:

  • Enrolment steps

  • Accommodation guidance (if applicable)

  • Study prep and mental readiness resources

  • Support for family members (where needed)
