Start2Study partners with Jobcentres, probation services, housing providers, and community organisations to help individuals access funded UK university education with full guidance, no fees, and no confusion.

Our mission is to remove barriers to higher education for those who need it most.

Who We Support

We welcome referrals for individuals who:

  • Are aged 18+ and seeking new direction or re-skilling

  • Are unemployed or underemployed

  • Have limited qualifications but want to pursue higher education

  • Are recovering from mental health challenges

  • Have experience with the criminal justice system

  • Are care leavers, young parents, or refugees

  • Are UK residents eligible for student loan funding (no upfront fees)

We also support international students where applicable.

What We Offer Your Clients

✅ Free, impartial advice on course and university options

✅ One-to-one support from application to enrolment

✅ Help with documents (CVs, Statements of Purpose, references, etc.)

✅ Fully funded degrees for eligible UK residents (repay only if earning £28k+)

✅ Supportive, inclusive service for people with additional needs

✅ Visa and immigration help (for international or settled clients)

All support is provided with dignity, transparency, and confidentiality.

We are British Council Certified education agents with experience helping vulnerable individuals access structured, funded education pathways.

How to Refer a Client

Referrals are welcome from:

  • Jobcentre work coaches

  • Probation officers

  • Social workers

  • Support key workers

  • Community charities

  • Housing or hostel services

2 Easy Ways to Refer:

1. Email: Send basic details to apply@start2study.org

(Include: First name, contact info, preferred course if known)

2. Referral Form: Download Referral Form and “Submit Referral“

We will contact the student within 24–48 hours, offer a free consultation, and keep you updated with progress (with consent).
